BOOK NATION

A team of inspired Savannah locals working to address literacy inequity in our city.

Book Nation recognizes the fundamentals and importance of reading for all children. Literacy is the tool that provides a child the powerful reading, comprehension, and critical thinking tools they need to thrive. That's why we started Book Nation: to bring the power of reading and literacy to each family and every child in Savannah. 

Our Goals

Build local literacy programs run by the community, for the community.

Decrease Savannah's illiteracy rate amongst our youth.

Help this generation of readers empower the next through continued engagement.
